Beautifully Beaded African Akwaaba doll, carved with Sese wood and with
beads on it waist, polished in black. It's very durable and good for conservation.
Akwaaba means "Welcome" in most Akan dailects. Akwaaba Fertility Dolls are
mostly used to welcome people on arrival at home and for welcoming newborn
babies. It is also beleived to help with the fertility of women, girls and the health of children.
