Djembe Drum

The djembe drum originated in Benin and has been introduced into neighboring countries.

In recent time, it has become very common in reggae music.

It is carved of Tweneboa wood painted in black. The skin of the drum is made of goat leather.

The goatskin drumhead is affixed with iron ring wrapped in cotton and black nylon cords tighten

the drumhead.
