Mausoleum is meant to represent an upside down sword, which symbolizes peace. Besides, the tranquil and breathtakingly beautiful park is full of bronze statues, wandering peacocks among others and is without a doubt pleasant enough place to wander around. The Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum is surrounded by water which is a symbol of life and its presence conveys a sense of immortality for the name of Nkrumah.
